  1. Ensure we have Good Thoughts. Good thoughts for ourselves and for others, if bad thoughts arise we clear them using our skills of letting go or replacing them with good thoughts.
  2. Ensure we speak Good Words. Be kind, considerate, respectful and chivalrous with our words to radiate compassion and love to all we meet.
  3. Ensure we do Good Deeds. Spend some regular time reflecting upon the good deeds we can do for our friends and family then enjoy doing them.
  4. Study the relationship of our 10 Shaolin Laws to Good Thoughts, Words and Deeds. The philosophies are profound and can help us to live the Spirit of Shaolin, take time to understand the many levels of these guiding principles.
  5. Examine our lives so that we are not “driving with the brakes on”. Check that there are no areas in our lives which are impeding the benefits of our practice.
  6. Live everyday to open our hearts. Ensuring everyday brings joy to ourselves and others.
  7. Live skilfully. Learn to apply our Chi Kung and Kung Fu skills in daily life – skills such as relaxing, letting go and entering Zen.
  8. Smile from our hearts. Use this ultimate skill many times from day to day.
  9. Apply our Shaolin tactics, strategies and principles in our daily lives. So that we are more effective in our work and play.
  10. Don’t worry just enjoy your life. If in doubt relax, smile from your heart and enjoy whatever you are doing.

I conclude with Grandmaster Wong’s comments from Questions and Answers October 2007 part 1:

I would like to share with you a great cosmic truth. What you are and will be, is what you think. If one constantly thinks of himself as being sick and unhappy, he will be sick and unhappy. It is very important that you must always have noble thoughts – of yourself and of others. And especially when your mind has become powerful, you must always use it for good.
