Editorial
Dear friends and students,
On behalf of the Shaolin Wahnam Institute - UK I'd like to welcome you to the new look monthly newsletter. For some of you this will be your first edition, for others this issue will be long over-due.
Shaolin Wahnam UK has been very busy over the last 6 months and there are a number of changes worth mentioning:
The new website address is www.shaolinwahnam.co.uk from here you will be able to access specific websites for England, Scotland and Ireland. Each site has up to date information on classes and courses in your area.
We are currently engaged in transferring www.wahnam.com and www.artofchikung.com from the old web hosting company to a new one, so watch this space for news of when they will become active again. Personally I have always liked the format of www.artofchikung.com and look forward to it finding a new home.
For those of you who haven't visited the forum recently I'd highly recommend a visit. Not only can you get answers to any questions your practice my conjure up, but you will also find a new section titled Articles and Popular Topics. Here you will find many articles written by Shaolin Wahnam Institute instructors on a number of interesting topics, such as: "Kung Fu a Karmic burden?" and "What is a Martial Art?", with more added on a regular basis this is a very informative section of the forum and well worth a look.
Sifu's excellent site is an essential resource for all things Wahnam, not to mention the outstanding selection of Questions and Answers published 3 times a month. The information in each one reflects clearly Sifu's depth of knowledge and understanding and it's all FREE! Read the latest addition.
Finally I'd like to remind students that Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung is excellent for curing illness, but a more important aspect is that it is very effective for preventing illness and for promoting mental and physical health. This makes the practice of Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung unique, it cures a person if they are sick but if they are healthy the same exercises will keep them continuously healthy. This truly is a most wonderful Art indeed.
Next month we'll look at some of the wonders of Shaolin Kung Fu, namely internal force and combat application. Until then I wish you well with your practice.
Kind regards
Marcus Santer

We would love to read them and possibly include them in the newsletter to help inspire and motivate other Shaolin Wahnam students.
