Who I Work With
I offer courses and private sessions to people who are committed to their total health and well-being. I work with people who realise that good health is the most prescious advantage they can have and who take full responsibility for maintaining it.
determined to overcome illness and those who believe
that their health is the most valuable
asset they posses
The West is rapidly becoming a culture that believes in "a pill for every ill". I work with people who believe there is an alternative to drugs and putting up with health problems. Many of my clients may not be in great physical, mental and emotional health, but they are committed to getting there. Most of the individuals and groups I work with already have good health but are looking to get the edge when it comes to vitality, stamina, mental clarity and quick decision making.
Are any of these statements true for you?
You catch colds and "bugs" easily?
Someone with a cold only has to look at you and the next day you'll have it. You're certain you have an immune system, but it doesn't seem to be very good. You always seem to have some cough, cold or illness.
You have an ongoing illness that you are told there is no cure for?
It might be asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, depression etc.
You are easily stressed out?
Stress is a sign of life, but do you have so much stress in your life that you often feel like you cannot cope? It affects the quality of your life and your relationships with those around you. It may even be affecting your performance at work.
You have trouble making decisions?
Do you sometimes find it impossible to decide which option to take on a project and when you finally do you agonise over it and even change it again and again? Or maybe you're a business executive who has a lot of data to absorb but your brain just seems fuzzy and full of cotton wool?
You're tired of sweating in the gym for hours at a time?
At the end of the working day do you relish the prospect of fighting your way across town to go and sweat in the gym, queuing to get on the treadmill? Or do you find it hard to schedule regular time for your health because you are so busy or always on the move? If only you could take the gym with you. You find yourself thinking there must be a better alternative!
You wake up in the morning feeling more tired than when you went to bed, even after 8 hours sleep?
Does your alarm go off in a morning and you wish you had a couple of extra hours? Does it take you several cups of coffee to get your "engine" started for the day? You know that if you got out of bed earlier you could do those activities that would really set your day up right, like exercise, mediation or reading a good book. But you lie there in bed until the very last moment and then rush around getting all worked up and stressed before you've even left the house!
You want to take back the responsibility for your health, happiness and well-being, but just don't know where to start?
There are so many "alternative" health systems to choose from, how do you find out which is the best for you?
You're tired of the roller coaster ride you call your emotions.
Do you find that your mood swings up and down many times a day? Are you as resilient as you'd like to be to the pressures of modern life?
Problems with sexual dysfunction are affecting your relationship with your partner.
With all the stresses and strains in your life this is the last thing you needed to happen.
You find yourself frequently asking if "this" is all there is to my life?
The constant bombardment on your senses from TV and other media is making you tired and fed up with modern cultural values. You're looking for meaning to your life.
You want to take care of your health, but just can't seem to find the time.
You know that your health is important, but there just seem so many other commitments that it's impossible to find the time.
You've tried every system going but can't seem to find anything you can stick with.
You are looking for an approach to health that is simple, direct and effective, one that doesn't require any special equipment and is as portable and versatile as you are.
From my experience I find that people are most likely to succeed with Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung if:
They want to take back responsibility for their health and well-being - they realise that their health is their most vital resource and want to learn how they can maintain and improve it.
They realise that the highest quality of health care is often not the cheapest and they have decided it is worth working and paying for. They are open and seeking a change - they have tried many things that haven't fully met their needs and realize that different results require new approaches.
They accept that the Western model of medicine is only one model and that other models are equally valid.
They have the discipline to dedicate 15 minutes every day to their health and well-being.
